Vintage framed map of New Mexico. This map was produced as an eighteenth annual report by the Smithsonian's Bureau of Ethnology, established in 1879. It was later renamed to the Bureau of American Ethnology in 1897. The scale is 45 miles to 1 inch. In excellent vintage condition, with charcoal grey matboard and a rustic black wooden frame. Ready to hang with a wire on the back.
